DIY Turtle Cart

Allow your turtle or tortoise to carry their own supplies on a hike with a homemade cart! Measure your turtle and cut a piece of leather or non-slip fabric to fit across your turtle’s back. Attach two long straps to the harness with the buckle fastener resting on the leather or fabric. Sew a piece of fabric across the back of the harness with pleats to create a skirt if desired and attach extra pockets or fasteners to the top of the harness. Make a cart with nearly the same width as your turtle, attach chopsticks or wood dowels to the front of the cart and fasten the front of the chopsticks to back of the harness. Add reigns and a stuffed animal as a driver for humor and place your pet’s supplies on the back of the cart.
