Gutters Aquarium Cave Background

Use gutters to make a rock background with caves for your fish! Cut pieces of gutter to the length needed for your aquarium and use aquarium silicone to glue the gutters together in rows or drill small holes across each side of the gutters to tie the gutters together with zip ties. Drill holes across the front of the gutters for the cave entrances, cut pieces of vinyl lawn edging and use aquarium silicone to glue the pieces into the back of the gutters for cave dividers. Paint the gutters with colored silicone and use silicone to glue lava rocks or river rocks across the front of the aquarium background and inside several caves. Use zip ties or suction cups to hold the structure against the aquarium wall if necessary.
