DIY Guinea Pig Grooming

Give your guinea pig a quality grooming! Brush your guinea pig with a soft brush to remove any excess hair before bathing. Fill a shallow plastic container with warm water up to one inch below your pet’s nose, bath your guinea pig by lathering pet-friendly shampoo into their coat and then thoroughly rinsing the soap out. Towel dry your guinea pig and then set the guinea in your lap facing away from you to clip the sharp tip off each nail with nail clippers. Carefully trim your guinea’s hair if needed, especially around the anus to promote sanitary health, and give your freshly groomed guinea pig a special treat as a reward!
