DIY Stone Axolotl Hide

Build a house for your axolotl out of stones! Gather or buy river rocks and clean the rocks thoroughly by sending them through a dishwasher load or washing them by hand. Form the stones into a half-circle shape, squeeze a strip of aquarium silicone onto the top of the stones and place a second row of stones onto the first. Set a cup or bowl in the semicircle to use as a support for the stones while the glue dries, and continue gluing layers of stones onto each other until the hide is complete.
