DIY Coconut House

Turn a coconut into a hide for your hermit crab or other small pet! Locate the three circles on the top of the coconut. Carefully use a knife to remove the top from each circle until you find the circle that goes into the coconut center, use a sharp object to pick out the coconut meat from that hole, then dump out the juice from the coconut. Tap a hammer on the line carved into the coconut by the seller until the coconut cracks open, then remove the meat from the coconut. Use a saw-blade knife to saw two lines for either side of a doorway out of the coconut shell, score the top edge of the doorway, then smack the coconut doorway area against the ground to pop out the doorway piece.
