DIY Cardboard Preening Toy

Keep your birds entertained with a toy they can preen! Draw a shape on a piece of paper, cut out the shape and use the template to cut two matching shapes out of a piece of cardboard. Cut pieces of string or unraveled paracord to the desired length, lay the top of the strings across the bottom edge of one piece of cardboard and tape the strings in place. Lay a twist tie across the top of the same piece of cardboard and tape the twist tie in place. Decorate the front of the other piece of cardboard with a bell or piece of mirror. Use a piece of double-sided tape to attach the decorated cardboard on top of the cardboard with the strings.
