DIY Carpet Cage Scratcher

Make a hanging scratcher for shelter cats! Cut a rectangle of carpet to the desired length. If the back of the carpet is not attractive, cut a piece of decorative fabric to the same size as the carpet and sew or use non-toxic glue to hold the fabric in place. Poke a hole near one end of the carpet and thread a shower curtain ring or lanyard clip through the hole.
