DIY Under-Table Habitat

Make a tortoise box to fit under a coffee table! Get a coffee table that has a glass top so you can see into the habitat through the table and that is tall enough for a box to fit underneath. Measure the table to determine the size needed for the box. Cut a piece of wood for the base of the box, wood boards for the sides and back of the box, and pieces of edging to line the front edge of the box. Assemble the box, then attach a piece of glass or acrylic in the front of the box. Cut a plastic tablecloth to fit over the bottom of the box for easy cleaning.
