DIY Fleece Forest

Create a forest of fleece for your guinea pig! Attach a cage grid to a top corner of your guinea pig’s C&C cage, or use pieces of cage grid to build a corner-like structure. Cut strips of fleece twice as long as one edge of a cage grid and tie each strip to the bars of the top grid. To make a cover for the forest area, lay a piece of cage grid on a piece of fleece and mark the corners with fabric chalk, then use the grid to mark the corers of an extra grid space on each side of the first, making a plus-sign shape. Cut out the shape, cut the extra space on each side into fringe and lay the fabric over the forest area so the fringe hangs down along each side.
