Hay Bale Horse Obstacle

Use hay bales as a part of your obstacle course! Measure the width of your horse’s stance and set the hay bales in two rows in a zig-zag pattern or parallel lines with the necessary width between the rows. Place bouquets of silk flowers or sticks along the tops of the hay bales for added challenge and line the edges of the hay bales with baking soda to mark the bale locations. Teach your horse to walk forwards through the bales and then increase the challenge by having your horse go backwards through the obstacle.
