DIY Wood Hay Trough

Build a wooden hay trough for your goats or sheep! Cut wood boards to the length needed for each piece of the trough frame and drill the boards together to make two rectangles for the top and bottom of the frame. Attach small wood boards to each corner of the bottom rectangle for legs and drill wood slats to around each side of the rectangles. Fill the feeder with hay and consider bending a half-circle of aluminum or plastic over the top of the feeder to protect the hay from rain.
