DIY Thyme Hamster Medicine

Use a natural antibiotic to heal your hamster’s respiratory infection or open wound! Get fresh thyme and put several leaves in a cup. Boil water and pour the boiling water into the cup to make tea. Let the water in the cup cool, then put a coffee filter in another coffee cup and pour the water over the filter to strain the thyme out of the tea. Make your hamster a temporary cage with clean bedding to stay in while sick, sprinkle fresh thyme leaves in the temporary cage, and crush some of the leaves in front of your pet’s nose. Give your hamster a couple drops of tea from an eye dropper if it has a respiratory infection, making sure that the tea has cooled a bit first, or wipe the tea on an open wound.
