DIY Lamp Cat Tree

Convert a floor lamp into a climbing tower for your cat! Get a floor lamp. Cut a large circle of heavy wood and attach the circle on the base of the lamp. Cut a smaller circle for the platform, measure the circumference of the lamp post, and cut out a hole from the center of the platform to the size needed. Cut the circle in half and reattach it around the lamp post. Repeat the process with a slightly smaller piece of wood, and attach that piece below the platform for added support. Paint a section of the lamp post with glue, wrap the area with natural rope, then continue painting and wrapping the rope around the lamp post until it is completely covered.
