Berry Basket Nest Dispenser

Upcycle an empty berry basket into a dispenser for nesting materials for your neighborhood birds! Empty a rectangular paper milk or juice container, hold the berry basket against the edge of the milk container and mark the length of the berry basket. Cut off two neighboring sides of the container to the length needed, punch holes in either edge of the roof and tie the roof onto the berry basket. Strategically cut a piece off the remaining milk container to make a chimney, fold the chimney, glue it onto the roof and put a piece of stuffing in the chimney to look like smoke. Fill the basket with varying lengths of yarn or scrap pieces of fabric and hang the basket in a tree.
