DIY Bare-Bottom Aquarium

Keep the bottom of your aquarium gravel-free! Paint a small section on the outside of the back wall and bottom of the tank with black paint. Ensure that the pained area looks matte and reduces the mirror effect of the glass. If the paint does not work well, use a more matte paint. If the paint does work well, cover the entire outside of the bottom and back wall of the tank with the black paint. Put the rest of your fish’s tank decorations back in the tank as usual.
