DIY Barrel Horse Feeder

Turn a plastic barrel into a feeder for your horse! Get a large plastic barrel that has a lid and has only held horse-safe contents. Cut out a window from the side of the barrel and sand the cut edges of the plastic smooth. Drill four holes on the back of the barrel for the bolts and several holes in the base of the feeder for water drainage. Wash and scrub the inside of the barrel well to remove any residue from the drilling and sanding. Attach the feeder on a fence or railing with U-bolts and fill the feeder with hay.
