DIY Bird Treat Ornaments

Bake treats for your feathered neighbors or pets! Preheat the oven, cook the oatmeal and add all ingredients except the bird seed to the cooked oatmeal. Mix the ingredients into a dough, flatten the dough and cut out shapes for the ornaments. Dip the ornaments in bird seed or use bird seed to make designs on the ornaments, punch a hole through the dough for hanging and bake the ornaments on an ungreased cookie sheet. Tie a ribbon through the ornaments once cool and hang the ornaments in your yard, on your Christmas tree or in your pet’s cage.
Ingredients: bird seed, oatmeal, peanut butter, cereal, corn meal and vegetable shortening
