DIY Bowl Birdbath Stake

Provide a bathing area for the birds in your garden! Find several shallow, decorative bowls or plates and use sandpaper to remove the glaze from the bottom of each dish. Cut steel stakes or PVC pipe to the length needed for each bowl stand, sand the edge of each pipe cap and sand the length of the PVC or steel. Glue a pipe cap to the bottom of each bowl, stake the pipe firmly in the ground and attach the pipe caps to the pipes. Fill each of the bowls with water or different types of water, such as spring, distilled or mineral water, and consider hanging a birdbath drip over one of the bowls.
