DIY Bubbling Crab Pools

Add an air stone feature to your hermit crab pools! Empty a plastic pen, drill a hole in the center and attach an airline tube to either side of the pen. Attach a shorter airline tube to the hole drilled in the pen and attach the end of that tube to an air pump. Place a pebble in the end of each air tube and seal the tip with aquarium silicone. Use a thumb tack to poke holes around the last few centimeters of each tube above the pebble and hang the tubes along the wall of your vivarium with suction cups or twist ties so that the end of each tube is in each of the water pools for your hermit crab.
