DIY Cage Shelf Liner

Make a shelf liner that can easily be tossed in the wash! Measure the shelf of your pet’s cage. Cut two pieces of felt to a size just slightly larger than the measurements needed. Cut pieces of elastic to the length needed to securely wrap under each corner of the shelf. Fold the edges of the fabrics inward and iron the folded edges to hold them in place. Sew the edges together with the pieces of elastic in place around the corners.
