DIY Candle-Heated Birdbath

Make a birdbath that can thaw in winter with the help of a candle! Get two clay planters that are the same size and each have a hole in the bottom. Get a copper pipe that can fit through the holes in the planters, cut several slits on one end of the pipe, and bend back the slits to be perpendicular to the pipe. Set one planter upside-down on the ground, set the second planter on top of the first, and slide the pipe through the planter holes. Put a candle in the pipe, light the candle, set a large planter dish on top of the top planter, and fill the dish with water.
