DIY Cardboard Basket Bed

Turn a cardboard box into a basket bed for your cat or small dog! Cut an oval from one side of a cardboard box for the bottom of the bed and cut a long strip of cardboard from the remaining box. Wrap the long strip of cardboard around the edges of the oval base and use duct tape to secure the cardboard. Line the inside and top edges of the basket with pillow stuffing or cotton batting and secure the padding with duct tape. Cut two ovals of decorative fabric for the inside and bottom of the bed, cut two strips of fabric to cover the edges of the basket and sew or use Velcro to hem the edges of the fabric.
