DIY Cat Basket Post

Make a climbing post with baskets attached for cat naps! Measure the location for the post and cut a piece of PVC pipe to the length needed. Cut a small slice from half of either end of the pipe. Drill a small hole near the end of one side of the pipe, thread the end of a piece of rope through the hole, and knot the end of the rope. Wipe the pipe with glue and wrap the rope tightly around the pipe. Drill brackets along the pipe to hold the baskets, cut a piece of wood to fit inside each basket, and attach the baskets onto the brackets. Cut a circle of wood to fit in either end of the pipe, drill the circles onto the floor and ceiling, slide the sliced spots in the ends of the pipe over the wood circles, and attach the ends of the pipe in place.
