DIY Cat Car Carrier

Create a safe, comfortable place for your cat or rabbit to travel in the car! Find a large plastic storage bin and cut holes around the top edges of the bin for added ventilation. Place a small litter box in one end of the cat carrier, attach a pet bowl holder to the wall and drill a piece of wood to the wall to divide the water bowl and litter box. Cut a hole out of the container lid, cover the opening with wire mesh and use bungee cords to secure the lid onto the cat carrier. Line the bottom of the container with a blanket and provide your cat with a special toy or other comfort object for the ride, such as a solid (non-popable) ice pack during summer months.
