DIY Cat Fairy Wings

Make your cat a pair of fairy wings for Halloween! Lay two pieces of colorful polyester film on top of each other, put a piece of parchment paper under and on top of the polyester film pieces and rub an iron on the lowest setting over the top parchment paper to bond the pieces of film together. Cut two pieces of craft wire. Bend each piece in half, feed the ends of one wire up through two neighboring holes in a button and repeat with the remaining wire and holes. Use pliers to curl the ends of each wire. Cut the fused pieces of polyester film into wing shapes and glue the wings onto the curled wires. Cut small pieces of craft wire, curl the ends and glue one onto each wing. Coat the wings with diamond glaze, sprinkle glitter onto the wet glaze, then add a second layer of glaze once the first has dried. Cut two pieces of ribbon to fit around your cat’s shoulders, cross the ribbons in the center and sew the crossed area together. Attach Velcro fasteners to each ends of the ribbons and glue the button onto the crossed area of the ribbons.
