DIY Cat Outhouse

Build an outhouse to keep your cat’s litter out of the house! Determine the best location for your cat outhouse and install a cat door at the necessary location. Cut wood boards to the sizes needed, assemble the boards into the outhouse frame and cover the walls with wire mesh. Attach either side of the outhouse with hinges and attach a gate latch for easy cleaning. Cover the roof with tin or plastic, cut a length of carpeting for the bottom of the outhouse and assemble bricks into stairs for the cat door if needed. Place a litter box in the far end of the cat outhouse and clean as needed.
