DIY Cat Spider Wand

Make a spider-like wand toy for your cat! Select a wood dowel for your cat wand and rub one end with sandpaper. Paint the sandpapered area with glue and wrap one end of a piece of string over the glue. Cut several strips of fleece or another thick fabric. Lay the strips across the center of another strip of fleece and tie the loose strip around the group. Tie the ends of the loose strip together again to create a double knot, but before pulling the knot tight, thread the end of the wand string through the knot area. Knot the string around the fleece knot, then cut off the excess string. Sew through the center of the spider-like toy and around the string to keep the toy intact while your cat plays.
