DIY Chicken Purse Sling

Make a purse-like sling to help your chicken recover! Measure your chicken. Cut a rectangle of a sturdy fabric for the outside of the sling, such as denim. Get a soft, cushion-like fabric for the inside, such as a towel, and cut the towel into a matching rectangle. Sew each set of rectangles together, then cut out holes from the sling for your chicken’s legs. Attach handles to either side of the sling near the front and back for even support. Tie ropes to the handles to hang the sling at the ideal height for your chicken, and set a food and water bowl in front of your pet.
