DIY Cinder Block Water Heater

Turn a cinder block into a water heater for your chicken’s water tank! Drill a light bulb fixture into one cavity of a cinder block and drill a hole in the side of the block for the electrical cord. Place a rectangular stepping stone on top of the cinder block and set your chicken’s water tank on the side of the cinder block that has the light bulb.
