DIY Dog Boots
Keep your dog’s paws safe from frostbite on cold or snowy walks with homemade boots! Lay a piece of blank paper on the floor, set one of your dog’s front paws on the paper, trace the outline of the paw and draw a second line for the boot several centimeters larger than the paw outline. Cut out the outline of the boot, fold a piece of fleece or thermal fabric, set the paper template on the fabric with the toe along the fold and cut out the fabric. Cut out a circle of thick fabric, such as suede or leather, and sew the circle onto the paw pad area of the boot. Sew up the sides of the boot, sew a piece of Velcro near the top of the boot and use the paper template to make the three remaining boots.
