DIY Dog Collar Bow Tie

Dress your dog for any occasion with a collar bow tie! Measure your dog’s neck, add half a foot to that measurement and cut a piece of nylon strapping to the length needed. Cut a strip of fabric as long as the strapping and sew the fabric onto the strap. Place a D-ring near one end of the collar, sew the D-ring firmly in place and attach the clips and slider to the collar. Cut two rectangles of fabric and a matching rectangle of interfacing, and sew the rectangles together with the interfacing in the center. Cut a small strip of fabric, sew the fabric into a tube, bunch the rectangle in the center and wrap the rectangle with the tube of fabric. Feed the dog collar through the tube ring and sew the bow tie to the collar.
