DIY Dog Taco Costume

Sew a taco costume for your dog to wear on Halloween! Cut pieces of cardboard into a half-circle for the taco shell sides, cut pieces of fabric to match the cardboard and sew the cardboard into the fabric pieces. Cut strips of fabric for straps, attach pieces of Velcro on the end of each strap and sew the straps inside the taco shells. Cut pieces of green fabric in a lettuce leaf shape, gather the fabric along the bottom edge, stitch the fabric to make ruffled lettuce leaves and sew the leaves along the top edges of the taco shells. Cut pieces of brown fabric for the beans or meat of the taco, sew the edges of the fabric together and stuff the beans. Sew strips of yellow fabric for cheese and red pompoms for tomatoes onto the beans and sew the beans to the taco shells.
