DIY Dog Wheelchair

Make a wheelchair just the right size for your injured or arthritic pet! Measure your pet and cut pieces of PVC pipe to the length, height and width needed for your dog’s wheelchair. Use PVC connectors to assemble the chair and attach rolling casters to each leg. Sew a length of fabric for each cross-bar with each end sewn into a tube that can slide onto the PVC pipe. Paint or decorate your dog’s wheelchair to match their coat and help your pet into and out of the wheelchair as needed. Consider padding the sling or adding a pillow or pool noodle padding to the front bar for your pet’s chin.
