DIY Dog Zip Line
Provide your dog with a way to move around and explore while still being safely tied up! Get a long, smooth rope. Determine the ideal location for the zip line and cut the rope to the length needed. Tie either end of the rope to a clasp and burn the rope tips slightly to stop them from fraying. Loop one end of the rope around a tree or fence post, clasp the rope onto itself, then repeat to attach the other end of the rope in place. Put a lanyard clip on the handle of your dog’s leash, attach the leash on your dog’s harness, and clip the lanyard onto the zip line. Ensure that there are no obstacles that your dog could get caught on along the path of the zip line, including another dog, and ensure that somewhere along the path of the zip line your dog has access to shade and water.
