DIY Doghouse Tent

Construct a tent-style doghouse! Cut wood boards for the platform and wood beams for the platform base. Drill the beams into a rectangle and attach the boards across the top of the frame. Drill holes along the sides of the platform, attach copper tubes into the holes and use pipe connectors to assemble pipes into the tent frame or solder the pipes to make the frame. Cut a piece of heavy canvas to cover each side of the tent, sew the fabrics together along the top, hem the ends and sew on pieces of canvas for the back and doorway of the tent. Poke holes in the canvas and feed pieces of ribbon or rope through the holes for ties.
