DIY Feeder Ornaments

Create Christmas ornaments that can feed the birds! Get wooden ornaments at a craft store or cut shapes out of cardboard to make ornaments and poke a hole near the top of each ornament. Lather each side of the ornaments with peanuts butter. Sprinkle a thick layer of birdseed or oats onto a plate and press either side of the ornament onto the seed to cover the peanut butter. Press larger treats onto the ornaments by hand, such as cranberries or nuts for squirrels. Tie a string to the ornaments and hang them from a tree branch or in your bird’s cage.
