DIY Ferret Catwalk

Create a catwalk of plastic tunnels for your ferrets to roam! Cut a hole in the side of the ferret cage, cut a sheet of steel to the size needed and cut a hole from the middle for a doorway or find a dryer vent cover to fit the hole. Insert a plastic end cap in the hole and attach the plastic pipes to the end cap. Assemble the ferret tunnels with glue and connector joints as needed, attach shelves along the walls for the tunnels to rest on and zip tie the tunnels to the shelves. Cut a hole through the wall above a doorway to run the tunnel into an new room and use small chains or rope to tie up any weak areas of the tunnel.
