DIY Flat Leather Toy Mouse

Make a toy mouse for your cat out of leather and suede! Cut out the template or draw the shape of the mouse on a piece of paper twice with one side that has fringe pieces for the whiskers, and cut out the shapes. Trace the shape of the mouse onto a piece of cardboard and cut out the shape slightly smaller than the tracing. Punch holes in the top mouse piece for the nose and eyes, then putt a black leather cord through each hole and knot either side of the cords to hold them in place. Sew the sides of the mouse pieces together with the cardboard pieces between them and a braided leather cord for the tail at the back of the mouse, as well as several additional leather strings for your cat to enjoy. Tie knots and bells onto the leather strings.
