DIY Flowerpot Foraging Toy

Turn a flowerpot into a foraging toy for your pet! Find a small terracotta flowerpot that does not have a glaze and cut a piece of leather string or natural rope to the length needed to hang the toy. Thread the string through the flowerpot and tie a knot in the bottom of the string. Drill holes along the edges of a plastic disk, consider knotting strings through the holes for added fun and place the disk on the string as a lid for the flowerpot. Hang the toy in your pet’s cage or play area and place a dry treat inside the flowerpot for your bird, rat or octopus to forage.
