DIY Foraging Bungee Basket

Make a foraging toy for your raccoons that engages them physically! Get a plant hanging basket that has a plastic lining. Attach biner clips to either end of a bungee cord and use the cord to hang the basket in your pet’s habitat a couple feet off the ground. Put a blanket in the basket and attach a colorful bird toy that has a bell on the top of the basket for added fun. Toss some pieces of cheese or other treats into the basket for your pets to forage. Ensure that your pets can pull the basket down to forage and adjust the height if needed.
