DIY Foraging Hay Toy

Make a foraging toy for your bird! Get a plastic jar or a plastic bottle. Use a hole saw to drill holes in the plastic at various locations, as well as a small hole in the lid, and sand any rough edges smooth. Fill the toy with hay and drop several treats into the toy as you add the hay. Thread a rope through the hole in the lid, knot the end of the rope on the interior side of the lid and use the rope to hang the toy in your bird’s cage.
