DIY Frozen Horse Lick

Freeze a treat for your horse or goats to lick on a hot day! Clean an empty ice cream container, nearly fill the container with water and mix molasses treacle or golden syrup into the water. Chop fresh fruits or vegetables that are safe for your horse, such as carrots, apples or turnips and place the solid treats in the water. Allow the treat to freeze, run warm water over the ice cream container to loosen the treat and place the horse lick on the grass or a pile of hay.
