DIY Garden Cat Deterrants

Deter your cat from entering your flowerbed or garden! Fill glass bottles halfway with water and place the bottles in sunny areas around the flowerbed. Cats tend to dislike the scent of lemon, so consider planting lemon grass or lemon thyme in your garden. Wrap netting around each of the plants to protect the plant roots. Cats prefer to dig in soft soil that is similar to their litter box, so consider using a mulch or harder soil.
