DIY Green Roof Tortoise Shelter

Make a green roof shelter for your tortoise! Place cement blocks in rows for the walls of the shelter and place bricks across the top of the blocks. Cut pieces of PVC pipe to the lengths needed and use PVC connectors to assemble the frame for the roof. Cut pieces of hardware cloth or mesh to fit each section of the roof and use zip ties to attach the mesh to the frame. Cut pieces of sod to fit the roof sections and place the sod across each section.
