DIY Guinea Pig House Cage

Build a cage for your guinea pigs that resembles a house! Cut pieces of wood to the sizes needed for walls, floors and roof, cover each piece of wood with plastic sheets and paint the wood. Cut a hole from the center floor board for the stairs, cut a thin piece of wood for the stairs and glue wood dowels or sticks across the top of the wood for stairs. Assemble the house with corner brackets and hang a plastic fence across each of the front boards of the house. Hang a Christmas tree ornament from the roof for a chandelier, print out pictures of home decor, such as a fireplace or picture frame, glue the pictures on the wall and use appropriate dollhouse decor or rodent furniture to furnish the guinea pig house.
