DIY Heated Stock Tank

Construct a heated stock tank for your barn animals to have water in the winter! Cut pieces of wood and assemble the walls of the wood box with a thin wood block in each corner. Cut pieces of Styrofoam to the depth of the wood blocks and glue the Styrofoam into the box. Cut out a hole from a bottom corner for the heater cord, attach the box to the base panel and place a piece of PVC pipe into the box as a tunnel from the cord hole. Wrap the water tub and PVC pipe with a sheet of plastic, fill the box with expanding foam and cut off the excess plastic sheet. Attach a piece of wood over the top of the box, cut out a hole for the bucket and attach handles or rolling casters to the stock tank.
