DIY Horse Bit Warmer

Warm up your horse’s bit on winter days! Measure your horse’s bit and cut two rectangles of fabric to the size needed. Sew the sides and bottom of the fabric together to form a bag and attach Velcro fasteners onto the fabric. Fold the bag, mark the locations of the folds, pour rice into the bag and sew the lowest folded edge shut to create a pocket full of rice. Pour more rice into the bag, sew along the second fold and sew the top of the bag shut. Place the bit warmer in the microwave briefly and then fold the bag around your horse’s bit.
