DIY Insulated Tank Lid Liner

Make a liner for your tank lid to keep in the heat! Cut a piece of tin foil to cover the screen lid on your tank, then cut two more pieces of tin foil to match. Lay the three pieces in a stack. Cut out a square window from one side of the tin foil that provides a large enough area to set your pet’s heat lamp in. Fold a piece of duct tape around each edge of the tin foil to hold the pieces together. Completely cover one side of the tin foil with more duct tape, then flip the tin foil over so the shiny side faces into the cage and the duct taped side is on top.
