DIY Leather Dog Harness

Make a leather harness for your dog! Measure your dog and draw a template for the harness on a piece of newspaper. Lay a piece of leather on a piece of plywood or other safe cutting surface, and trace the shape of the template onto the leather. Cut out the leather in the shape of the harness. Punch holes in the front flaps of the harness, hold the flaps together and attach leather screws in each set of holes. Punch holes along the long belly strap and attach a buckle on the short belly strap. Make designs on the leather, dye and oil the leather, and attach any additional decorations.
