DIY Lego Hermit Crab Shell

Construct a new shell for your hermit crab out of Legos! Gather single-row Lego pieces and assemble the pieces into the shape of a half-moon, slightly larger than the size of your crab’s current shell. Attach a flat platform of Legos along the bottom edge of the half-moon, create a ridge along the front edge of the platform and attach several more Legos across the top of the ridge to create a bar that points into the shell for your crab to hold as it picks up the shell. Place the Lego shell in your aquarium for your hermit crab to relocate when needed and consider making additional Lego shells with different color patterns or attachments for your pet to have a variety of new shells to choose from.
